OCTH 704 Essentials of Occupational Therapy Practice IV: Population Health
This course will highlight the role of occupation in promoting health and preventing disease and disability at the societal level. Students will expand and enhance their understanding of how client-centered practice must be adapted to meet the distinct needs, values and priorities of diverse population groups within their communities. The course will cover the fundamentals of securing grants as a vital resource for innovative service delivery models and professional growth. Students will have an opportunity to research and select an appropriate funding source and create a grant proposal to support community program development.
