OCTH 330 Research and Critical Analysis
This course provides an introduction to research in the health professions. Fundamental components of quantitative and qualitative research including questions/hypotheses; study variables, sampling procedures; project designs are explored. Quantitative analysis including basic descriptive, correlational, and inferential statistics as well as qualitative analysis are included. Students will also identify threats to research validity and trustworthiness and discuss the significance of statistical findings and thematic analysis from research studies as they relate to practice.
