EDUC 478 Career Professionalism for Early Childhood
Career professionalism will provide the springboard from the college setting to a professional workplace; a transition from student to employee. In this senior-level class, students will complete the edTPA assessment which requires them to demonstrate proficiency in Lesson Planning, Instruction, instructional strategies, learning environments, and assessment. This demonstration of their understanding of the learner-centered teaching learning cycle will prepare them for the four year Resident Educator License which they will receive as beginning teachers.
