MBA 648 Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management
This course examines the analysis of investments and contemporary practices in portfolio management. It explores the valuation of securities, portfolio construction and the application of modern investment theories. Students will develop skills to assess investment opportunities, allocate assets across diverse classes and implement effective portfolio management strategies. Topics include risk and return analysis, equity and fixed-income valuation, asset allocation, portfolio optimization and performance evaluation. The course also addresses global financial markets, portfolio risk management and ethical considerations in investment decision-making, preparing students for careers in asset management, financial advising or related fields.
