To earn a Master of Arts in Education in Mathematics Teaching requires a student to complete the graduate education core and the Mathematics Teaching Strand:

MATH 540	Applied Combinatorics	3
MATH 543	Rings and Fields	3
MATH 545	Differential Geometry	3

three courses from:

EDCI 545	Independent Study in Curriculum and Instruction	1 to 5
EDCI 553	General Methods for Adolescent/Young Adult and Multi-Age	3
EDCI 528	Assessment/Evaluation for Middle Childhood, Adolescent/Young Adult and Multi-Age	3
	or
EDHR 643	Assessment, Curriculum, Evaluation: Technology Integration	3

Students using EDCI 545 for this elective requirement must complete the course for 3 semester hours.
