EDSP 642 Leading Innovation in Schools Today

This course is designed for students in graduate programs that emphasize the development of the knowledge, skills and dispositions necessary to lead a learning organization in the 21st Century. Students will examine and analyze historical and contemporary models that guide change and innovation in schools. Students will analyze and evaluate policy issues (political, educational, social and economic) that support and inhibit change and innovation as they apply to school settings. Among these areas of knowledge, skills and dispositions are school culture, collaboration, trust and trend analysis. As a result of completing this course, students should be able to apply these areas of knowledge, skills and dispositions to their own school environment.
