JAPN 221 Second-Year Japanese II
Building on the basic skills and knowledge gained in
JAPN 120 and
JAPN 121, this course is designed to further develop the basic ability to use the spoken language in a culturally and socially appropriate manner. Simple reading and writing abilities will be further developed. This course requires a great amount of preparation outside the classroom using audiotapes, videos, CDs, and written texts. The completion of
JAPN 221 satisfies the language requirement for the Japanese minor.
