A major in religious studies consists of:

Two of the following:

RELI 102The Jewish and Christian Traditions

RELI 200Hindu and Buddhist Traditions

Also, students must complete 15 semester hours of elective course work in religious studies and/or philosophy (six hours of which must be at the 300- or 400 level). Students are encouraged to make use of RELI 490, which allows for independent or directed studies and may be completed for up to 12 semester hours, provided that the topics of study vary.
