OCTH 634 Occupations Through the Lifespan: Adult II

This is an integrated theory and practice course that examines contemporary evidence in the literature, occupational therapy models of practice, evaluations and treatment strategies for health promotion, remediation and health maintenance for the adult and older adult population. Occupational role function and dysfunction are explored through compensatory strategies, adaptation, remediation, environmental modification and equipment needs. Laboratory experiences include assessments, occupational and therapeutic interventions, neurorehabilitation, documentation, case studies, adaptive equipment, reimbursement issues and home programs.
