EDIS 538 Intervention Methods for Students with Disabilities

This course will address methods, materials, strategies, resources, technology, assessments and adaptations for students with disabilities. Topics include the effects of disabilities on content learning and development; evaluation of age-appropriate instructional objectives; development of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) objectives and strategies for teaching skills in all content areas including language arts, mathematics, social studies and science in the general education classroom or least restrictive environment with students receiving special educational services.
