Degree Requirements

Students receiving a Doctor of Pharmacy degree are required to complete the following courses:

Twelve hours of CORE+ General Education courses

  • Three hours from the O1 CORE+ General Education Outcome
  • Three hours from the O3 CORE+ General Education Outcome
  • Six hours from the R1 or R2 or R3 or E1 or E2 CORE+ General Education Outcome

PHAR 150 and/or PHAR 151 will be waived for any student transferring to UF and receiving P2 status or higher.

Doctor of Pharmacy students are also required to take an additional 14 semester hours of professional electives.
