BLMC 280 Linguistics and English Grammar

This course is designed for majors within the following fields: English, foreign language, TESOL and education. Taught in English, it will introduce the fundamental linguistic principles of the structure and use of languages in societies. Topics of study include: phonology, phonemics, morphology, semantics, syntax, discourse and pragmatics. Grammar and structure will be emphasized.
