EDIS 537 Assessment and Intervention for Students with Disabilities

This course develops an understanding of issues and specific skills related to assessment, diagnosis and evaluation of students. Emphasis is placed on developmentally appropriate formal and informal assessment methods, with a focus on interpreting observational data through the lens of child development. The course also includes interpretation of assessment results and the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as well as other instructional and behavioral interventions.
