BLMC 535 Assessment Practices for English Language Learners
This course presents formal and informal evaluation designs, purposes, methods and techniques used in standardized as well as classroom-based assessment for English language learners of all ages. Students will learn to design rubrics and classroom-/program-based assessments as well as how to document, interpret and use assessment results. Particular attention is given to the analysis of English language proficiency exams as seen on specific standardized testing used within Ohio's K-12 system and internationally with adult English language learners.
