BLMC 520 Human Development and Language Acquisition

This course presents the theoretical schools of thought associated with learning and language acquisition. Students will analyze theories of learning and language acquisition for first and second language learners comparing the stages of language acquisition on a phonological, morphological, syntactic and semantic level. Exploration of learning variables and practical applications of the theories will be discussed.
