Business Essentials Certificate

This certificate program is designed for the benefit of the traditional and nontraditional student. Within the context of this program, “traditional student” refers to an individual who is a degree-seeking student working to complete an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in addition to this certificate. A “nontraditional student” refers to an individual who is interested in pursuing only those courses relevant to the completion of this certificate program. The administrative classification of a nontraditional student working towards the completion of the business essentials certificate would be that of “non-degree seeking student.” The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to this program as a nontraditional student is a high school diploma.

The “Business Essentials Certificate” is an acknowledgement by The University of Findlay that the student has successfully completed the course work identified below with an average grade of “C” or better. The certificate represents the student’s achievement in mastering coursework but does not confer upon the student any rights, privileges, or status. Rather, the certificate provides the student with a tool to promote his or her potential within the workplace.
