OCTH 503 Foundational Science and Theories in Occupational Therapy
The meaning and purpose of occupation in everyday functioning is emphasized in this course. The philosophy, framework and theories of practice of the profession are also explored. The occupational therapy process with focus on the components of critical thinking, clinical reasoning and documentation are included. Integrated lab experiences center around contextual influences on occupational performance and the use of theories within the context of the occupational therapy process
