OCTH 553 Occupations Through the Lifespan – Adult I

This course is a study of the current literature and theoretical principles and their application to evaluation and treatment of the adult population. An introduction to various assessments and interventions directed toward occupational dysfunction typically encountered in adulthood will be explored in depth. Integrated lab sessions allow practical experiences designed to apply current evidence in the literature, introduced in lecture and the development of problem solving, clinical reasoning and documentation skills related to therapeutic interventions, custom orthoses, adaptive equipment, etc.
